Firstly I'm a new member to the Forum and this isn't the way I wanted to do my first posting!

An inconsiderate elderly gentleman has just crashed into the side of my (once) beautiful Chimaera. Having only owned the car for 6 months, you can imagine my feelings are somewhat unprintable at the moment. Anyway the main reason for this cry for help is that I need to get the car repaired. It was only a low speed incident so only bodywork was affected, but he seems to have managed to hit every possible part of the side of the car.

I live in the Wiltshire area and would like to know if anyone knows of a good TVR recommended repair place that will be able to sort out the glass fibre panels. I don't want to trust the repair to any old repair centre that the insurance company recommend.

Also is there anything special I need to be aware of for body work repairs so that I end up with a car as good as it was before.

Thanks for any help and advice, I'm off for a stiff drink and avoiding going into my garage for a while.

Sorry to hear that Stuart, but as Iain says, TVRBodyshop should sort you out.

Where in Wilts are you? If you're towards the south of the county, then maybe Racing Green at www.racinggreentvr.com/contact.asp in Hampshire might be closer.

Hope it works out for you.

Maybe I'll see you out and about sometime.

Thanks for the tips Guys, I'm Chippenham based so will probably try Webbs first as it's closer and I work in Bristol, hopefully it won't be off the road too long.

Snap!

Check out the Wilts website Stuart www.tvrcc-wiltshire.co.uk/index.asp - you'll be very welcome Stuart - next meet's at the Cross Keys, Wanborough near J15 off the M4....you'll be very welcome.

There's quite a few TIVs around the area.
