Yes, as you may have seen in "Sprint" the New TVR race series is going to SPA...
Three days after we are!
I have secured entry and Pit Passes for all attending the TVR MonsSPA!
So the itinary is...
Reims "Ghost" GP
Spa Trackday
Scenic drive to Germany
Ring day
Scenic drive back to Spa
Spa TVR Raceday
Back to UK
Now is that a week or what??????
only taking 10 or so TVRs, with Support Vehicle (spares & tyres) and Spa Instruction by non other than Steve Guglielmi !!!!!
we will have a couple of reserves and there are a couple of slots preliminarily available so get your name down by contact me via my profile!

After the great time I had at ther TVR monster last year, I really want to come to this, but the old Wedge budget just can't take it and it's not the right car for Spa anyway. If anyone is going solo who'd prefer to have someone to help navigate/pitcrew/co-drive I'd be up for sharing fuel costs.

The race should be great, as you may know the TVRCC challenge Cup is now running in the Invitation class of the Tuscan Challenge So the race should be one heck of a mix of cars, their is even a rumour of a couple of cars from Aus and the USA plus maybe a t400r :jump: all mixing it with 280i, griff's etc

I have already done some initial planning into doing a trip in 2006 that would combine watching some racing at Spa with a day at the Ring.
Initial thoughts were for the weekend of the Spa 1000kms race on 14/5 and then I hear that the TVR's will be at Spa on 4/6!
To help me decide what to do can you confirm;
1. if the qualifying / racing for the TVR's at Spa is all on the same day or if it is spread over Sat & Sun?
2. what other racing would be on the Spa programme other than the TVR's (not that only watching TVR's at Spa wouldn't be enough.....!)
I will not have enough time to do the Reims & Spa trackday parts of your trip but I've been to Reims before and it's a magical place - you'll have a fantastic week!!!!

Its a old disused GP Track just outside Reims.
The Pits and control tower are still there and the road goes right thru the middle.
Its a point of interest that nearly ALL the european road tours use. A good chance for luch, photos and generally posing!
from there its a scenic drive across the Ardenne forest to Spa, makes a nice drive of it rather than a M-way Blatt, plenty of time for that on the Autobahns

The Full details arnt out yet so I cant help there yet... all we know
is it will consist of
Free Practice
Timed Practice / qualifying
2* Races...
As soon as I get more details they'll be on PH... For anyone with the time this has to be an unmissable event
The Monsta Track day and then some TVR Racing a few days later, with time in between for Lunch at Reims and a blat around the ring....

We have a great mix of "Rookies" who just want to soak up the experience as well as guys who have been on trackdays before! We are a friendly Bunch!!!

The whole idea of these days, is to get people to USE their TVRs, broaden their use and support TVR motorsport. You cannot REALY use these cars on the public road in the UK nowadays, but a drive down through Europe to two of the best tracks in the world, in the company of other enthusiasts is a great way to use your car!
With the Back-up vehicle and Instruction we have in hand, you can do this safely and confidently knowing we have TOP guys there to help you if necessary. Add to this the chance to Drive these tracks...watch the Best of TVR racing...and add some top hotels and beers...I hope it speaks for itself!
Graham will be out having fun with us during the week, and then we can all support him as he Races on Sunday...how cool is that!
To be honest, its all come together beautifully on this one! A bit of insider knowledge and some useful contacts have resulted in a trip that i doubt we'll ever match again...
...can't wait!
