Driver's Door not locking

Help needed again chaps.

Driver's door isn't locking when I alarm the car....passenger side locks OK but not the driver's side. Sure I've seen a similar posting in the past but cant find it in the archives.

Any help appreciated.

Hi,
Seems to be two general causes:

If you get a locking noise but it does not lock then the cable on the end of the actuator needs adjusting. If you don't get a locking noise then the connection half way down the door where the end of the actuator wire and the wireing loom join has come apart (on mine this was just a spade connector pushed together)

Take the door panel off as per Justin's guide on his web site and have a quick look - shouldn't take very long, but you need long arms to get to the wing nuts.

Cheers chaps. You can hear the lock mechanism so sounds like the former....now off to get some arm bruises

I had exactly the same. Quick fix was to removed the little nipple behind the opening lever and let the lever engage more inwards.

I waited until 1st service to get it sorted though!
