The MR2 is quite a pretty car when its not made to badly resemble a F355 with the dodgy kits, from a distance it looks ok with the proper Ferrari wheels and lights but when you are up close it really does look fake most of the time. (i have seen one that actually looked ok, but it was still obvious when you could see the interior and parts of the exterior still had Toyota parts).

And no exhuast or engine conversion can capture the sound of that Ferrari V8. Just bugs me these 355 wannabes, has anyone seen one of these or would like to comment on them? (apoligies if you own one, just my opinion of course!)

I think there should be more 355 replicas out there. Some of them are better than the real thing!

Then again.... there was a yellow 355 replica around East London a few months back. Fooled me a few times. Have'nt seen it around since.

Makes it sound like you had something to do with it not being seen since

I have had 2 MR2s the old box shape and the more rounded one 2.0gt. (no time for the latest one). The 2.0 was the best handling car I have ever driven (I can hear people laughing but true). Back to the subject. Keep the cars as they were built that is how they were intended to be! If you want a particular type of car save up and get it. Dont ruin a good car to make it look like your next goal.
