My clutch pedal has developed a really annoying squeek when pressing, can this just be oiled?

Look at the rear of the pedal. A tub will be attached to it that goes towards the front end through a rubber gland. The squeak is either the metal tube on the rubber or the hinge point of the actual clutch pedal. Lube up with WD40, worked for me.

Wayne,

Depends how bad it is mate.

If it's just a faint squeek - WD40 will probably do the job.

If it is more of a "creak" then the bush (or trunion) might be worn.

You can replace the clutch pivot bush/trunion with an uprated one that transforms the clutch pedal.

Not the quickest job in the world but ultimately worth it.

The squeek is pretty bad so will probably have to invest in the new bushes.

Thanks for the tips guys, much appreciated
