It was only a matter of time before they would do the unthinkable: check out www.brabus.de/news/news19e.htm

Nobody in their right mind needs a car like that of course, but boy wouldn't it be nice!

I don't see many Brabus things second hand. How much does a good 2 year old uber saloon by them cost?

Just browse through this bit of their site: www.brabus.de/fahrzeugangebote/geb_e.htm (under Show cars and Used cars)

Most of it is in German but the prices (in Euros) are easy to spot; look for six figures sums...

Didn't one guy buy a 200mph Brabus E-class and painted it as a replica of the biege taxi?

Quite correct. The german guy bought an E V12, which was restricted to 207 mph due to tyres. He had the vehicle livered up in his local districts taxi colours. The only problem he had was getting the roof sign to stay on!!

I remember this , i think he had the roof sign made so he could automatically retract it flush with the roof at speeeeeeeed
