Looks like it might tidy up ok. great for blasting round the tracks... This months Octane regards the 964 rs as the best track porsche.

will they be able to repair it all properly for an extra 5k! It's been kissed front and rear and a proper respray costs that these days, even with no badger action. You'd spend half that just making sure it was all straight, sorting suspension and checking the mechanicals. If the cage has bent even a fraction you'd want it removed and replaced; that's 2.5k fitted for a full Matter. Refurbing the mag wheels, over a hundred quid a corner, the list would go on... I'd budget maybe 10k to properly sort it, even at trade rates. If you want to chuck on ali Cups and a few non-RS bits (they don't make the proper front PU bumper anymore; you have to use a C2 one), you're a miser with the paint and the shell wasn't whacked too hard so you could keep the cage and it didn't need jigging, then maybe less... but a bit of a risk. 28k gets you an un-knackered one (albeit not clubsport spec).

Cheers for pointing it out tho'. It's not a bargain unless they relist at 15k, then you could maybe make some money on it. I just like the 'we could repair it for another 5k'; makes you wonder they don't and sell it for 32k which is what it would be worth in good nick. If the repair was good they could get it delisted too.
They know a bit about them judging from the listing, but 5k quoted repair cost makes me very wary of them.

Thats because they've never driven a 944 race car!

But you could drive a 964RS out of a Porsche showroom as a production car. That could be what they meant. It's still probably the rawest production Porsche ever made.
