I have given it some thought, and obviously it takes alot of patience and determination to get it going, but would anyone have a rough idea on the earnings of a man with one privatly owned limo who would do events suchs as birthdays, Night on the town, airport runs ect. Any other info would be great. I know i could get a very nice 4 year old limo for around 20k

It would depend entirely on how well you ran the business, marketed your business, what volume you did, the clientele you targetted, how well you controlled costs, and the prices you charged

First thing you need to do is make your service stand out from others in your area.

Go and hire a few limos from other comapnies in your area to see what your up against.

When you start up join the NLA they will help with what legislation you need to comply with in your area. www.nlauk.com.

if you want a chat ring me on 07802 285347 or the number on the website.

I've been running my chauffeur company for just under a year now www.alphachauffeursyork.co.uk . I decided to avoid the stretch limo market as there were already a few established companies in my area and I didn't fancy ferrying stag and hen do groups around and clearing up the mess afterwards!

If you set up an executive hire business you'll be able to tap in to the corporate market which will keep you nice and busy during the week and then do weddings at weekends.

Cheers
