3200GT Quirky Stereo?

My Becker stereo gets loud every time I put my foot down. Is this one of those noise cancelling stereos or is it knackered? I quite like it but it does the wifes head in.

Speed adjusted volume, the faster you go the louder it gets. There'll be a menu option in there somewhere to turn it down.

Quite useful in the spyder though.

Think Becker call it GAL - it is one of the menu options you can turn it up or down.

The idea is very common in most cars now, it is designed so when going at thirty miles on a country road it is as audible as going at 100 mph on the motorway. It seems to work well on a Becker set and is noticeable but most cars it isn't very good. The Becker sets are good so i wouldn't look at changing it. I think GAL is the menu to set how it functions for you.
