Further to my earlier thread "Fire in engine bay" since cleaning the breathers my dip stick has stayed in place. However the oil pressure guage, which has always been glued off the scale, now goes to 4 bar at idol but only in the morning at 0 ish degrees C. Above about 5C degrees it never moves. advice?

Sounds like problem solved, congrats.
Each car varies but I have heard of cars with a much higher pressure variation which are still going strong. I dont think you have anything to worry about.

Now go and enjoy !!!!!!!!!!!!!
