Hi everyone,
I need some guidenace. My Air Con keeps blowing fuses. The system will work for about 24hrs then blow both of them, the 7.5 and the 10amp ones. The main air con unit has just been changed and when it works it works fine however something is affecting it. Also, and this may or may not be linked, the fans seems to have a mind of there own, they are almost always running not that the car is overheating.

Anybody got an ideas?

The fans cut in and out continuously while the air-con is running.
They should only cut in at 101 deg C (i think) if the air con is switched off.

Not sure about the fuses, looks like theres a lot of extra load going through there somewhere.
You may have to have a twiddle about with a multimeter under there

I had the same problem with my m12. The fan had become clogged up with dirt and dust and had to be replaced.

Saw an interesting thing on a TVR fan assembly recently - the first fan drove the second (dummy) fan via a drive belt - not too good should the main fan fail!
