Looking to get my chim serviced for the first time and am looking for a decent company that can do it but won't break the bank. I have used Thames Valley Racetech for some minor maintenance but am keen to know if there are any others....

Would anyone ever use a range rover garage for a service? They must know everything there is to know about the V8? Or is it best to go to a TVR specialist? Apologies if i'm being bloody ignorant.

Recent thread here covers a few options available to you. I always recommend Steve Howard (details on the thread)
but have not used anyone else so cannot speak about anyone else. Shame for you as Steve was in Hurst which would have been quite convenient but now moved to High Wycombe, still not exactly far away and he knows his TVR's like few others (IMHO).

It's a nice 30 minute hoon to Farnborough along the A327 (at least it was until the started putting roundabouts every 2 yards) where you'll find Racing Green. Very good bunch, but main dealers so might be a bit more expensive than an indie. They do top notch work there, and acording to Sprint to a 10% discount on servicing, parts and labour for TVRCC members...

Andy at APM Automotive is very very good and very reasonable. Hes at Passfield Industrial Estate. (Its near Bordon, south of Farnham).

Seconded! Dave is brill, just had service on Griff for £350 and it runs like silk now. Definitely VFM, though he gets pretty busy.

Can APM do warranty work, or is it only 'dealers'?

Depends !! Andy is VAT registered and so can do warranty work if you have a warranty that will be honoured. Clearly TVR (factory) warranties are a thorny subject.

Got a Autoprotect Gold (TVR Power approved, nothing to do with TVR as such), that should do it, right?
