Does anyone in the London area or heading out towards Racing Green have a spare Cat for a 4.2 sitting around doing nothing that I could borrow for a couple for days. Have one but the other kaput in the summer so took that as a sign and de-catted but need one to get thru the MOT. Be grateful for any help on this. More irritatingly I also have a clutch that has gone again after less than 10000 miles and has to be replaced because of broken fingers - could someone who knows please enlighten me as to why these are such an apparent weak point? Thanks

My understanding is that only one exhaust needs to pass the emissions, so you might be OK.

It was suggested by the garage this might be ok but that it would depend on who was doing the testing - i think they would prefer to have both in if poss.

I have just de-catted my Cerb, and have the CATS in the garage. I'm more than happy for you to borrow one, although my car is a 4.5 so I don't know if they will fit a 4.2.

Are they different compared to those for a 4.5? I have mine sitting in the garage (ahem!) at the moment...

I always make sure I take my Cerbera to a 'friendly' MOT Station, with a guy who knows that Cerberas do not always pass the emissions test first time.

He is in Essex BTW.

In the Rochford area, he also sells tyres. If you google Rochford Tyres, you 'may' find the man that could be called Colin.
