I need some new music, but there's nothing I fancy. So I give it to the ph massive to choon me up, respeck etc etc Whatever..
I'll listen to anything, as long as it's music. Not this new style R&B crap though, thats not music
Current song is Black magic woman by Fleetwood Mac, that's proper music
So, anything, please, I can't listen to the radio anymore, it's crap. Heck, I'm now a converted radio 2 listener at the age of 21! Help me

Try:
Matchbox 20 - Have a listen to a song called Push
Rob Thomas (Lead singer of Matchbox 20)
Jack Johnson
Daniel Powter
Lene Marlin
The Eagles (its old stuff but I love it! - Off to see them in June)
Have a word with Docevil we both have similar tastes so he might be able to suggest something.
ACDC?
Bryan Adams?
Cher?
Editors?
Foreigner?
Franz Ferdinand?
Gorillaz?
Kaiser Chiefs?
Nirvana?
Pink Floyd?
Prodigy?
Status Quo?
A few samples from my mp3 collection. Youve probably got most, though.
Edit: oh, didnt know you wanted weird obscure stuff no ones ever heard of....

I have just had my music collection expanded by the radio. I was listening to a track that I thought "Hmmm, that's really good - I wonder what that is"
Put a few of the lyrics into Google and came up with the answer - Led Zeppelin, Kashmir" I'd always assumed I didn't really like Led Zep stuff - turns out I just needed to listen to it!
2 seconds later, onto Soulseek and a double CDs worth of music speeding onto my PC.
I love the internet!

If you like Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac, then try most of his back catalogue (he used to live about 400 yards from me!!)
Also -
Gary Moore (ex-Thin Lizzy axeman) e.g. "blues for greeny"
Mean Red Spiders
ANY Johnny Lang
For a change of tempo - Leon Redbone
Eric Bibb and Needed Time - "Good Stuff" - slightly esoteric but interesting...
James Delingpole in the Telegraph usually sniffs ouit one or two good albums a week.
Gotta have some Radiohead!
Keith Jarrett - "The Koln concert" - the finest piece of solo piano improvisation you'll ever hear.
Eminem's Marshall Mathers album - intelligent rap? Surely not?!
Al Green's greatest hits - find out what soul music REALLY is....
Howlin' Wolf
John Lee Hooker
Elmore James
Try some 60's Motown as well - sublime!
Michael Jackson's Thriller - he may be a kiddy-fiddler, but he was a genius once.
etc...etc...
