I need a good home printer for photos size and A4 printing. I'm not too bothered about wireless if its difficult to set up. Photo quality is the priority. For under £200.

There seems to be loads on the market!

Can anyone recommend one?

Help Please: Printing Digital Pictures

I went with Photobox as most people recommended and they were just as brilliant as promised. I thoroughly recommend them.

Thanks I hadn't considered a printing service as opposed to buying a printer.

For the odd letter printing etc, get a cheap printer for about £50-£60, for printing your Photos use an online type service like photobox or bonus print.

I get all my pics printed on line by www.Digi-Prints.co.uk For letters etc, I bought a Lexmark X735 printer from Argos for less than £30. Not a very Black Black as it uses a 3 colour tank but I understand a Black tank can be bought from Ebay and the like

snapfish were pretty good for me, at about 10p per piccie, and the first batch only cost the p&p

Jessops in the High street do 50 pics for £4.99 or 100 pics for £6.99, next day service which is pretty good

I have a colour laser in my home office (Dell 3100cn) which is great for printing letters, proposals, graphs and general multimedia. However, for printing photos I'd always use a specialist photo-printing service than any home printer. It's cheaper per unit, better quality, faste for large number of pictures (next day delivery), you have more options in terms of finish and size and it's more convenient.
