Hi All,

I know this isn't strictly a car/driving type topic, but I am after sponsorship for the 2006 Flora London Marathon. I'm running on behalf of CLIC Sargent, the child Cancer and Leukaemia charity. You can see more about what they do at www.clic.org.uk

If you feel you would like to help this charity by sponsoring me please either contact me through my profile or, more simply, log onto www.justgiving.com/ed_2006

Many thanks in advance,

Ed

Done!

Good luck raising for target. I hope to be running in it next year, how do you go about entering for it and when does one have to enter by?

Let us know how you get on

I entered by contacting the charity directly, but you can sign up via the entry system in around November the year before. If you buy runners world magazine (or just read their website) they have loads of info on it and hints on gaining entry.

Thank you very much indeed for your sponsorship.. I'll let you know how it goes.

Thank you.

Only another £1,800 to go.. If I get another 10 PistonHeads sponsors I'll run with a PH sticker on my 'Bumper'

For the first time I can remember I'll decine the request to donate to a cancer charity, but only because my wife is also running, also for cancer charities.

Don't get to down hearted, I posted a similar request back in April last year for the LONDON-BRIGHTON bike ride which was in June.

Only got 1 sponsor from here, so your doing allright. Free bump anyway.

I'll bung some wonga your way soon, bit strapped at the moment. I wont forget.
