Snooker or Pool Games for PC

Are there any 3d Snooker or Pool games for the PC which can be played online or over a LAN for multiplayer etc. Please can you let me know if there is more than one current title which one is a "good pot" and any which are worth a "miss"

I remember virtual pool and virtual snooker were very good back in the day - good controls and sounds and quite atmospheric... not entirely sure if its online though....

Want a proper game rather than a web based one... www.play.com are all out of pc pool and snooker games for some reason....
