Can anyone explain in plain English if you can use software release under either of these 2 licences within comercial software?

Reading the licence text doesn't make it very clear.

Particularly looking at TinyMCE or FCKeditor

You can use LGPL code as a library,(ie linked into your project) but must make the source to the LGPL code available. If you use GPL code you must make all of the source to the entire project available. This is my understanding of the licences, and for various reasons that I won't go into, I sincerely hope that I'm right.

This is just how I thought it worked, I just needed clarification. Ta
