i'm thinking of upgrading to a 996 tt, but have come across the x50. now my question is what should i pay for an 03 model? they seem pretty rare and also is there a big diff between manual/tip or should i just get manual to be a real man?

It all depends where you buy it from. I saw mine at Paragon and after a few visits came to the conclusion that they were very professional and that they were 100% confident in their cars. I saw the colour and spec I wanted: (midnight blue) with no aerokit, X50 and a 3 year warranty and I just said what the fu$$ . Moreover they are 10 miles away and make a nice cup of coffee.

If you want to haggle a lot I suggest you do it before the test drive as it's difficult to be poker faced afterwards.

I paid £62 k for a 2002 25 k miles
I probably paid a bit more than elsewhere but sleep at night!

Scary

Sounds a good deal..

Think I might have to go the X50 manual route after all.

Solihull Porsche had one. I test drove it I didn't buy it though
Silver, no Sat Nav, Black leather, bit leggy on the miles as I recall. Was up at £57k but i'm sure if they've still got it, they'd accept a lot less !
