Hi, just waiting for them to be cleaned up and reconditioned by the garage. Will have that through quite soon and also will then be able to give full spec + provide digi pics. Will advise once this gets done.

Sorry been away. To be safe I think it's best that I speak with the garage. Hope to get back later this evening. In the meantime will post more info as now available with pics.

Hi,

The spce that I've been advised so far is:

stage 4 big valve heads
bronze tapered guides
dual springs for cams up to 0.56" valve lift
heavy duty collets + caps

Don't know how to get pics on here. Can send to yr email address. Let me know.

I think they will fit earlier engines, but it depends on what your'e trying to do and what engine your'e talking about.
The inlet ports are bigger, so you need the ported/enlarged manifold and the exhaust are probably bigger too, so ditto on that front too.

Hi,

Spoke with the garage and they advise can go on any Rover v8 from a 3.5 up. That said I would agree with Eliot that the rest of the engine needs to be matched up with porting etc., hotter cam and the like. These heads were on the hottest Griffs in standard spec around 340 bhp and can handle a bit more I would imagine. Wouldn't recommend sticking on your standard 3.5 engine. Suggest discussing with a V8 specialist and discuss what you want to achieve before taking it further.

Keep an eye on ebay, they turn up reasonably frequently from basic 3.9s from a few hundred £ to seriously tuned 5.0+ for several thousands £££.
