Where to buy camera gear online?
Discussion
I'm trying to find out what websites (UK based) people would recommend for buying gear from.
What I'm after is a C-30 quick release plate for a Wimberley head. Warehouse Express have them - but I'm hoping to pay less that 99 quid for two bits of metal, a knob and a couple of springs!
Any ideas?
I should have mentioned - probably a relatively unusual bit of kit, Jessops, Ebay, no help, etc. etc.

I've always found Warehouse fairly competitive, and totally reliable. The other company I like a lot is www.pixmania.com/ - first class service and great delivery tracking via ParcelFarce. (sorry, Force).

There about $100 in the States
aren't they - for example here (who look like they do international orders...)
Otherwise, going on holiday or know anyone else who can get you one?

Thanks for the replies chaps.
I'd considered ordering from the US, but shipping + import duty and the cost gets near the UK price...
I've occasionally pondered that if it was expensive kit I was buying it'd actually be more cost effective to fly to New York for the weekend and buy from bhphotovideo than buying from a UK supplier!

I've used Warehouse a few times as they've got some slightly unusual bits of kit that can be difficult to trace elsewhere. So far I've found them very reliable. For instance order placed late Tuesday night has just been delivered 10 mins ago, all present and correct well packaged etc and priced better than I could find elsewhere even after including the next day delivery cost.
Unfortunately with Wimberley, Kirk, Manfrotto etc the prices seem steep for what should be a relatively simple bit of kit. However I've found that they are really, really well made and should take a lifetime of abuse. Seems expensive now but if it lasts 10-15 years, it's pretty cheap really. My moral now is buy right and buy once. It might take me longer to afford the bits of kit I want but I know they are all going to last and not let me down.
