On the way to work this morning I was cruising along the motorway at about 102 kph. Up ahead was a small convoy of 4 evenly spaced cars doing about 95.

When I got to approx 80m behind them I indicated right and changed lanes.

Just as I was about to overlap the rear car (a '91 Corona) it pulled right without indicating, lurched about the lane, arm way out the window, one finger protruding above the roof line.

I didn't flash my lights, honk my horn . . . or even glare with the kind of distain that I normally reserve for instant coffee.

. . . so what was my grievous crime ? ? ?

We've even got a few Atom's. I had a drive of one in November last year although it didn't have the 'keg' upgrade like yours

None id say!! Just hypo tts that shouldn't be driving if they are that stressed! I have done a few white glowing sticks back before but it gets you down to their level. For people driving too close I simply give short sharp jabs on the brake pedal to give them a fright! To see the look of horror on their in the rear vision mirror is funny. Makes them realise how stupid they are.

its (only very slightly I'll admit) possible that they thought they were indicating but have a blown indicator, didnt check their mirror until they were already pulling out, and gave you the finger because they thought you should have seen them indicate and given them more room?

either way, they're still dopey pricks.

They gave me a free ticket for another go. Not much use when I vist NZ every 25 years!!! So I gave it an English man in the viewing gallery who had just emigrated and joined the NZ Royal Air Force.
