Well done, great price. TVRCC confirmed my pitch for Maison Blanche and I'm going o/n with LD Lines from Portsmouth arriving Le Harve 07:30 Fri 16th and departing 17:00 Monday 19th. Went for a cabin both ways so I can take a shower before returning home to my better half! Best get her some chocs as well!!

Mind if I ask where you booked you LD tickets - planning on catching the Wed/Mon ferries and too lazy/busy to hunt the best price

Paul, fancy going to the Surrey Region's monthly meet at The Fairmile, up near Cobham (I think)? Only a 30 minute run.

I can then introduce you to Steve & Karen the ROs and we can ask them to save you a camping spot with us. Can also introduce you to some of the other local members. The meet is on the last Thursday of the month

Also Paul, look in the General TVR forum for the local Sussex Tivvers, we are having a curry at the Akash in Horsham in a couple of weeks if you fancy coming along?

Mark, I booked ticket on-line www.ldlines.com but would mention that LD Lines are not a low price company like Speed Ferries or Transmarche although a bit better than Brittany Ferries when I checked out their Ports - Caen route.

Nick, I'm up for the next Thurs meet (26 Jan ?) and also the local curry if its not the weekend we're away (3-6 Feb). Found it -11th -so name down

Paul

ocean500...have you received anything from the TVRCC confirming your booking, or did you call them to ask?

Cheers,

Neil

Couldn't wait so called TVRCC on day 2 and they confirmed my allocation; said postal confirmations would take a "few days" before despatch so expecting anytime now.

I received confirmation of our group booking a couple of days back, but I only received my credit card deposit receipt this morning. I'm not sure what you should expect as an individual. My advice would be call the club office and ask them if you want to know the status of your booking.

Steve.

Why not get in contact with Steve direct?

Sorry if that came across a bit fierce - what I meant was I've only ever made group bookings as an RO. My home phone number is in Sprint if you'd like to chat to me.

There's just one problem with you going to Le Man this year.

Next year will seem like for ever when the race finishes!
