I'm new to the Tuscan fold and have an 'S' - I was thinking:-

Green 6000
Amber 6500
Red 7000 (as this is where the max power is)

What do you have yours set at?

On the one hand, there are those days when you really get a grin out of them coming on so you could set them low for more s.

Depends upon whether its on the highway or for track where change up is a critical matter not just a good feeling!

I think mine are set back at default. In third, the first comes on at "one unit". (Private highway, not the Queen's one, obviously! )

Have a venture into the screen set up when you have a mo. (It's also in the RTFM, but you're forgiven for not doing that ) You can set them however you want to the nearest 100rpm IIRC.

BTW - I think that IS the default (from a quick squizz at my handbook - although my screen needs a bit of a talking to, it's lost quite a few lines in this cold weather )

The previous owner must have been playing with them then, cos my green comes on at 5000 (Fair too low!)

Went out yesterday, first time for three weeks. That's how I know my Christmas tree lights are still working - the speedo and screen are both playing up, but at least I know (if I stay in third) when I'm going to lose the licence not just piffle around with a few points!

Jeez - they're breathtaking. Go easy with the right foot unless it's dry, folks!!!!!

(Actually mine is a pussy cat if you can get into bimble mode, much pleasure even at trundle mode! OH !)

I think some people might set them even lower, first one as a warning of 3k while warming up, for example - it makes some sense....

I've got my first change up light at 2500 - for the warm up
6k for intermediate and 6800 for max - as that's as far as I'll
ever need and by the time I see it it's probably at 7k anyway

I have mine at 5400 RPM for the first one (ie max torque) 6000 RPM for the second and 6500 RPM for the red one, I have not see a dyno chart yet from a 4 Litre Speed Six engine that produces any more power beyond this.

I have mine at 5600, 6100 and 6600 just so there is time from the last one before the 7200 rev limit (non-S). IIRC 7000 is the max power point for my car however the max power point for the S is higher (as is the rev limit)

The lowest the first light, can be set on a Tuscan is a lot higher than that.. 4 or 5k IIRC

There are two sets of software in the Tuscan pod. The early ones are set with quite a high lower limit however the later ones are different - it may be that they can get down to 2500.
