Might get a ticket

Just driving through Barkham towards the M4 when I notice a Scamera van. It was dead opposite a 40 limit sign, but I can't for the life of me remember if it is a 30 just before. If it was I might have a speeding fine on the way (unless they didn't have a video out the front of the van - lets hope).

Is there any way to find out what the speed limit is there on the web? Wouldn't it be nice if you could visit a web site to check if you did just get a speeding ticket instead of sweating it for up to two weeks! Maybe we (the public) could force them to have the smiley/frowney faces on the van so you can tell if you were caught or not!

I haven't heard of any cameras at the front of the vans, as I remember watching one of those cops shows chatting to the plod inside operating it. So they actually have to sit behind the camera and aim and focus it. From that i don't think there would be room for all of that at the front.
I could be wrong but I hope i'm not.............fingers are duely crossed
