Hi folks.
Basically got an FZ750, registered on a K plate, has done 43k miles, and has been stood in a garage for the last 7 years, black/grey in colour and pretty much immaculate, obviously no MOT or tax, was fully serviced not long before it was stood up.
Just contemplating whether to sell or keep it, money will be the deciding factor.

Does anyone have any idea to what it's likely to be worth??

Thanks for your time.

If you sorted out all the stuff that it needs after standing for 7 years it may be worth between 800 and 1000 but as it stands it would depend on what it needs. Minimum it'll need will be tyres, oil, filter, chain, sprocket, fork oil and seals, brake fluid and pads.

How much are you hoping to get for it? I might be interested for a mate if you want a quick sale but I (he) won't pay much if it needs all of the above.

Your best best if you're not in a hurry is work out the price of all the stuff it needs and do them if you think you can sell it in the summer or just ebay it if you want to take a chance.

Regards,

Mark

Sold mine for £450ish in 1999 ('87 D plate) as a non-runner with about 50K miles. The gear box was fd after too much chain tightening!
Don't really have an idea of what yours would be worth but it's a good excuse to put up a pikky of my old girl

Thanks for your advice, unfortunatley the bike holds alot of sentimental value, as it belonged to a late family relative, but is now kinda getting in the way.
Thanks for your help, it's given me something to mull oveer.

I'd say £600-£1k I Have seen similar ones on ebay fetch that, they are not worth an awful lot these days really.

Just refresh it and use it, cracking bikes in their day, I got it its bigger brother

Oooohh, memories. I had one in '88 exactly like the Blue/White one pictured. My first proper bike. Passed my test one day, P/X'd my KMX125 against the FZ750 the next day - WOW, still not sure quite how I made it home in one piece . The FZ did everything I ever asked of it - noce bike. Sort it and keep I say.
