Go on then who's superstitious.

Personally I'm not, but I used to work with a girl who's mother wouldn't get up, answer the door or phone on Friday the 13th.

But then again, I've organised my sons birthday do with his mates for tonight, so I can't afford to be superstitious. Computer games and pizza for 11 year olds, got my fingers crossed anyway that nothing goes wrong.

If you are worried about Friday the 13th you only have one more to go in October.

Are you telling me I'm going to die before April 2007? Bummer!

Sounds like an excuse to have a Friday off work to me!

Well so far today, the Boy Fish has thrown up his breakfast everywhere; whilst sitting on his changing mat he threw himself backwards and banged his head; I knocked the lamp off his chest of draws and smashed it. I haven't even left the house yet

Well so far I have locked up my off-side front breaking to avoid a transit which ignored the fact that it was my RoW, then swore and gesticulated at some bloke in an XKR who did exactly the same, only to find it was one of my biggest clients who I am doing some work for and have to call today.

Wonderful!

Do I believe in this stuff? Only when things go wrong! haha

Superstition. Pah! I have a little fact for you:

The only two Halifax bombers in WW2 to exceed one hundred missions (and neither was ever actually shot down) were delivered on a Friday 13th and one was actually named so.

I know It's sad but I like small useless factoids like this

Well its mid day and so far so good, got everything done I wanted to this morning.

Just the afternoon, and the dreaded boys party this evening to go.

touching wood, and trying not to count chickens before they've hatched

I stepped on a crack in the pavement this morning, but as I did so a black cat crossed my path. Where does this leave me, superstitionally speaking?

I always like to think of black cats crossing your path as good luck, as I have a black cat, and he regularly crosses my path. I only considering it bad luck when he stops in front of me and I fall over him.

Cracks not sure about them, but from a rhymne I remember from school, your due to marry a brick and a spider is coming to the wedding. I think.

So Far:

Alarm decided to refuse sounding
Heating failed to come on
Car covered with ice, de-icer empty
Stuck behind some ct doing 25mph in a 40 for 4 miles randomly braking on way to station.
Missed train by literally 6 feet
Had to stand on next train for 40 mins
10 min bus journey took 35 mins because of random traffic lights.
Candidate on 9am interview failed to show/call/e-mail
Client pissed.
Further Client cancels meeting (dress down on Friday, only one wearing suit because of.)
Forgot wallet
Indigestion
Just found out that Mrs Tiga is in Vienna for her birthday in Feb on work bollox for 3 days.

Beer needed. See you in a couple of hours. Friday the 13th? I laugh in your face.......

I went to give blood today.

A few weeks ago there were no appointments available, apart from a big blank page today.

I figure all these poeple who need a transfusion after falling over the cat would be pretty pissed off if they get to A&E and are told "Sorry you'll have to wait until tomorrow, as no-one wanted to donate today."

Load of mumbo jumbo rubbish IMHO.
