This 360 Modena driver must have felt about 2 feet tall after this.

Can't help feeling sorry for him though.

Think about the owners of these. Its not like they can get another Enzo under insurance.

Actually, this accident happened just down the road from me.
The car belongs to an ex-racing driver (I will not post his name, because I am sure that he would like us to respect his privacy). I understand that he was letting his son drive the Enzo when he collided with a bus on a narrow road in Hampshire.
Nobody harmed, but the car looked quite sorry for itself.

I believe that the car was properly repaired afterwards.

360Boy,

Nice sentiment (and rare, I might add!) but I think anyone who reads these boards regularly knows who owns that car. I didnt know he was en ex-racing drvier though!

I live not far away i heard about it in my local Echo. Apparently the damage was estimated to be more than £40,000 worth.

I didn't know he was an ex-racing driver either. As far as I knew he was a property developer. I also live just down the road from where the accident happened.

360 Boy - have you got a 360 or a GTO as per your profile? I haven't seen too many 360s around the area that I don't already know.

Lost control while overtaking a bus.

Looks like the bus has scraped down the side of it actually . Given it was an exceptionally wide LHD car being driven on the left it would be quite easy to misjudge how far out into the middle of the road the right hand side of the car actually was so I can easily see this happening with a bus coming the other way on your average UK single carriage way road.

I kerbed both the right hand rims on my LHD 360 within two weeks of ownership due to poor judgment of the width of the car in confined situations. The left hand rims are spotless.

Hi Shnozz

I have got a few cars at the mo. 360 was sold a few months ago. Have had a Lambo as well. Will be replacing it soon with another one, I hope.
I do still have a GTO. One of those really under-rated cars, as well as a BMW for everyday use.
Being in the Ferrari business, I usually have the occasional car to use as my own.

excellent, nice to hear that there are some unknown exotica around the local area. I definately haven't seen the lambo as I would have been dribbling. What's the name of your company?

Hi again Shnozz.
The gentleman with the Enzo is a property developer but I understand, used to be a racing driver. As well as his Enzo, I believe that he also has some historic racers.
The crash happened in Burley in the New Forest a couple of years back. I haven't seen it for a while, although I know that it was properly repaired after the accident.
I did see an Enzo on the M27 near Fareham about a month ago but didn't see the number plate.
The M27 seems to be a good spotting ground for exotica. I have seen two McLaren F1s, a Mossler, and loads of other Ferraris and Lambos.

Yeah I knew it was Frank's car and the story behind the crash, but I never knew he was formally a racing driver. At least I wasn't alone in that!

Seen a few bits of exotica, but less than the average PH meet, especially when the lads from this forum come along. Couple of Gallardos and Vanquishs a few times a month but not that many F cars around on a regular basis. Goodwood FOS week is cheating by the way

Will keep an eye out for the GTO.
