Illegal immigrants to get up to £3k each to leave UK

Just heard on the Jeremy Vine Show that Illegal immigrants are to receive a sum of up to £3K EACH to leave the country! Why should we pay these individuals when, by definition, they shouldn’t be here in the first place?
The argument for the ‘bounty’ given to the immigrants was that it cost over £11K to process and remove the immigrants (!!), and the argument against met with the usual condescending crap from a Labour spokesman, i.e.; we’re right, we’re grown up, and if you disagree we’ll throw the ‘PC’ book at you.
I don’t think the vast majority has a problem at all with genuine immigrants, but paying tax payers money as an incentive to bribe the illegal ones is plain lunacy, do the powers that be really believe that throwing our money at every problem they helped implement is really the answer?
I am no expert in any sense of the word, but I would have thought that, once this becomes common knowledge, surely, they'll flood to this country to get their 'prize', and the genuine asylum seekers will suffer because of it!

I'm not an illeagal immigrant, but I have paid taxes here for the past 14 years, and I am leaving the country soon, do you think I'll get £3k too???
