Discussion
Question for all you griff / tuscan / 3000M owners.
i have sourced a 4HU Salisbury diff from a 3.6 XJS Jag to go into a hybrid vixen. i am going to use some Adrian Venn type uprights. etc. what other bits do I need for the diff? IE Flanges etc.
all answers / info gratefully received.

You'll need the following:-
1) A substanial diff carrier, its heavy if you hadn't noticed
2) Depending on your driveshafts you'll probably need a big washer (don't know the techincal term, but its to allow the parts to mate cleanly) and a new yoke flange for your driveshaft
3) The Salisbuty has some tie-bars to the lower chassis rails to stop it twisting, you'll need the tie-bars and then some flanges on the chassis to mate it with
4) You'll probably want stiffer rear springs as see 1 above its heavy!!
I'd recommend that you talk to Adrian Venn about the bits
