Hi, couple of quickies....anyone know how to remove the door trim panels? One of the clips by the lock is constantly working loose and rattling when I shut the door. Is a special tool required?

Also...yesterday my seatbelt warning light came on for no apparent reason (I was wearing the seatbelt), and now it comes on all the time. Anyone know how to approach this one?

hi, the door cards are relatively easy to remove. You have 2 plastic clips behind the interior door handle, pop these off and undo the two tiny screws, phillips type i think. once you have undone these get hold of the door panel and gently prise them off the door, be careful you dont damage the wires for the door speakers and electric mirrors. Refitting them can be fiddly, connect the speaker/mirror wires, lower the window all the way down and line up the panel, making sure the door pin is correctly inside the hole in the panel. Then push the panel back onto the door starting with the fixed clips on top of the door, the others should then be aligned up and quite easy to fit. Hope that helps.

AFAIK the seatbelt light comes on for just a few seconds when you switch the ignition on, regardless of whether its fastened or not.

Yes, the problem is that now it stays lit regardles of wether its fastened or not. I'm wondering wether it might be a fuse or god only knows what.

Just for future reference....I've had the car in for a service and I'm told the seatbelt warning light is a common problem usually caused by a loose seatbelt pre-tensioner wiring loom under the seat. £97+vat. Ouch.
