I've just had my tracker fitted and while the guy was looking in the passenger footwell behind the carpet that's velcro'd/tie wrapped in place we found a scart type connector

Is it meant to be loose aka not connected?

Yes.

It's actually an OBDII connector except that it can't be read using an OBDII reader (I've tried with my Tamora).

Presumably the ECU has some MBE/TVR specific protocol to stop us having a damn good fiddle with yer Tiv's brain.

Thanks, I'll tuck it back out the way.

And I'm still loving it!!!

BTW All - I've been using it to commute to work in and the experience just gets better

Sad thing is I have to do 2 weeks more in it while my wife borrows my commute car

It's actually not the lead to connect to the ecu as that is situated in the drivers footwell near the fuseboard. I don't know what they are there for but I'll find out! Best regards, Tony

Hi HexhamHC,

Did you manage to find out what the cable was for?

Cheers

The cable is for plugging in a computer to access the ECU of the car
