Elise Stickers - whats it mean?

Hi

Saw an S2 on the motorway and it had circular sticker on the top of the door piler (the bit near where the back of the roof fits) - looked like a reef that olden day race winners got presented with after winning. Any idea what it means?

My car also has a massive "Lotus Mototrsport" sticker on the top of the windscreen - any reason for this?

Yeah, quite possibly. It didnt have a soiler though.

They told me a few months ago what that sticker stands for, but I forgot...I believe its some kind of celebration sign? maybe someone else know around here...

Whast year was it when Lotus get there award? and for what exactly?

The Queen's Awards for Enterprise: International Trade 2002

Awarded to Group Lotus plc for Car manufacture and engineering consultancy services.

Dunno why the queen likes them so much, hardly room for a couple of corgies let alone Phil and the entourage.

Cars that are run as part of the Lotus Sport fleet get this queens award sticker e.g. all the cars used on the Lotus driver training, loan cars etc. If you have the sticker its most likley an ex Lotus fleet car. If you have a new at first registration car with the sticker then, well I guess it means that you got an extra sticker !

That is because it is an exige with the roof off, not an elise - a fairly rare sight in that state. Looks better than I expected, especially in black. Nice car!
