Yeah, it was a bog standard car though, not like the Whittaker Griff' with 5-stud hubs, AP brakes, roll cage, uprated suspension and a proper pre-cat 5.0litre. A very quick car.
A couple of guys at the Britten factory commented on John owning a TVR when I visited a few years back. My engine builder in Christchurch developed the V-twin engine for them - John had some great ideas but occasionally they were compromised by aesthetics!
