Spotted

Second reported sighting of a blue Monaro in or around the city centre of Glasgow in the last couple of weeks. Anyone in here?

Hi Bob,

It was me! Had a meeting in Bristol so I flew Easyjet from Glasgow after driving from Orkney. Got 2 speeding tickets on the A9 thanks to the boys in blue . Worse was my mother in law was with me (I was dropping her off in Alness) so I got it in the ear from her as well as the police!! 77 mph came through the post - I saw the camera van and my Road Angel alerted me but I was overtaking and committed at the time . Next one was 81mph before the turn off to Alness off the A9 and was pulled over by in a marked car. They showed me the evidence and issued a fixed penalty. I hate them!!!! . Good to hear you are back on the road Bob. I met up with Dave the last time in Edinburgh, he has done a good job on his car. Mine is being booked in for the 1st of Feb at Belmont for a service and alignment by some other garage. I have a meeting in Glasgow on the 1st and 2nd so I'll leave it with them. Maybe catch up with you and Dave then for a coffee?

damn 2 tickets in quick succession - that sucks bigtime. Didnt know you had a blue car - Dave told me you were silver!!! Certainly up for a meet up with you guys next time you're down Jeff. I'm tempted to head to the Ace cafe as well but thats 4 tanks of fuel and a couple of overnights making it an expensive day out. Had car out for a run yesterday, handles okay and repaired panels seem fine. Lost a bit of confidence though pushing it round wet corners. Think I'll book myself into the skid pan training at Knockhill - got a discount voucher makes it £85 for the course. Probably a good investment!!!

Dont recall saying what colour Jeff's car was Bob :-) Have been asked many times (ARE YOU DUCKING BLIND!!)But never was the word colour added to the sentence,he!he!
Mid-week meet might be a prob for me but we will see nearer the time.
Is it going to be in the west?

If Jeff's car's in the east then we can make it there dropping it off/collecting it if that makes things easier. We've a couple of weeks to work things out. On the subject of spotted I had a look through the Total Vauxhall issue with the monaro's and assorted hsv from couple of months back and spotted Dave rolling a fag at the back of the gathering :-)

I'm down again the week after on the 7th and 8th but it's Glasgow then. 1st and 2nd the car is booked in to Belmont for the 20k sevice + alignment courtesy of Vauxhall customer care Can't remember who does the alignment?? I know it's not them

I'll need to go for that too Bob! My rears are on their way out after trying a bit of skidpan shenanigans recently !
