Especially as I had his old ones complete with tyres. Only replaced the tyres about a 1000 miles or so. Got good value from them !

The Kahns do look good IMO

I think that the RSRs were his last set of Kahns and these are in fact RSSs.

Each to their own, but I don't really like either of those.

I think you have to go a long way before you beat the standard Griff 500 wheels, to be honest, which is why I've never been tempted to change the ones on my Chimaera 500.

indeed each to their own. I prefer the standard 4 litre ones to the Griff 7 spokes.

The world would be a dull place indeed if we all liked the same thing.

Having said that, it would make Market Research a piss-easy job.

While we're on the subject, I take it that 'Spiders' do not fit on the Chimaera at all? Appologies for my ignorance.

hehe saves me posting. There are a few TVR's around with these wheels (including a Sage Green Griff LE) as TSW made some in the offset specially. Mine has TVR centre caps as well which is pretty cool as no such part number exists for them. Their a weird size according to the TVR Centre who had one 'floating for years' around there parts bin when I phoned. They were so chuffed they found a home for it they sent it to me for free.

Correct - different hub / stud pattern.

Having said that, some people have had a complete hub conversion done so that they can have Spiders fitted.

I fitted TVR brake and wheel conversion to 16inch spiders and I always think it was money well spent and that mod updates Chimaera for reasonable cost

I think those look very cool.

Can anyone recommend any good places for aftermarket TVR wheels considering the offset etc?

cheers,

Nick

OK, so where's the picture then so we can all see what we think.

If it's the same upgrade as mine I'm guessing something like this:
