Boot solinoid location.

Doing some work on my brothers 1992/1993 4.3 BV, the boot release button on the dash had stuck in and the boot no longer opens, I’m guessing that the solenoid is not continually rated and has now burnt out the windings. I have opened the boot by another method, only to find the solenoid is not located on the boot release, can someone of the wealth of PH knowledge tell me where I will find the solenoid before I start pulling out the carpets.

Maybe I should of also said...... there ia a bowden cable from the boot latch, which Iv'e followed around the ofside rear wing, then it goes through the bulkhead between the boot and cabin. Hence the removal of carpets. Its a 92 or 93 car so a very early one, the solinoid is not in the boot.
