Just updated my profile for the Elise. Costs more than you think to run one but worth every penny! Not that bad when you take out upgrades and consider it's a hobby as well as transport!

If I take out upgrades, it has been the cheapest car I have had in at least 6 years, allowing for inflation.

20 months of ownership.

Insurance £700 1st year, £720 2nd year
Tyres £370
service £420 (was serviced free when I bought it)

Adjusting for the fact that my insurance has 4 months left, works out as £98.50 / month.

If I add upgrades, triple that figure. (Brakes, OZ's, 048's, Nitrons, Larini, Harnesses etc)
