Was breaking from 80+ down to 60 when I saw big led speed camera warning sign, felt the back end twitch from side to side slightly, gulp! not sure if i was breaking too hard and momentarily locked the wheels, or if the thing was about to loose traction for some other reason? Must say after reading cerbies posting its really made me think a bit!

i did the same thing in mine last month! after driving a fast 4x4 for the last 4 years, i really need to adjust my driving style! i think they must have rear biased braking due to it being the driven wheels. Its scary isnt it!
Interesting you mention the 4x4, I also drive an Audi quattro turbo which is very forgiving, even in bad conditions, unless you drive like a complete maniac.

Nissan Pulsar produces that kind of power, blimey! I take it the "R" spec Pulsar is along the lines of the Skyline "GTR" spec? Quattro produces a pretty average 200 bhp as standard spartacus said:

A close friend has got his Pulsar running at 375bhp!
There are a handful 400bhp+ in the country already, Jap Performance did a UK Pulsar scene write-up a few months back, real sleepers!
Yup, happened to me on Saturday night when a Belgian 'lady' decided to pull out from behind a truck without signalling.
Must've been about 20 deg sideways before 'the baby' corrected. Swear I was just a passenger. Once my heart had returned to the same Universe as my chest I thought "My goodness, I'm glad that was the back end that stepped out !"

It sure did, and that was only running at 1.1bar of boost. As sxs said there are quite a few in the country running over 400bhp. There is a guy from north wales who is currently running his at about 550bhp with over 2bar of boost on a huge turbo. It does the 1/4 in 11.2 at 130+mph! has got a proven slip of 3.1 to 60 too! and...he uses it as his everyday car!lol! Mine was built to be over 400bhp, but instead of buying a stand alone ecu....i bought the cerb!ha ha!
Trouble is, they are all getting on a bit, and hence a crap one is very cheap to buy = townie pikey chavs can now afford them!
