Pentagon to families: Go ahead, laugh By Gregg Zoroya, USA TODAY

When the stress of the war in Iraq becomes too severe, the Pentagon has a suggestion for military families: Learn how to laugh.
With help from the Pentagon's chief laughter instructor, families of National Guard members are learning to walk like a penguin, laugh like a lion and blurt "ha, ha, hee, hee and ho, ho."
"The guiding principle is to laugh for no reason. And that's one of the reasons it works so well for military families," Scott says. "There's a lot they have to be stressed over, a lot of worries, a lot of concerns."
Someone say this is a joke.
I'm sure the families of the 2000 odd dead and 15000 maimed physically/psychologically are really laughing.

Why not? Laughing is the way humans cope wih stress and adverse conditions and laughter therapy is becoming more popular these days.
Yes sure, the last few funerals I've been at every one was pi55ing themselves with laughter.
Who's going to be the father for the 4 kids and pay the mortgage...f_ck all that, let's just stick on The Comedy Club and walk about like penguins and make lion noises.
These families are going to be laughing so much they won't even care that their loved ones are either gone, or will never be the same again.
'The laughter program was Scott's idea. It costs the military virtually nothing'
Just about sums up this clusterf_ck of BS. How about diverting some of the 400Bn a year mil budget into seriuos psychological help.
