I want to change my S" 111S exhaust and have been considering either Larini Cub Sport or Janspeed Club Sport.
A number of you have written, and put audio clips on, about the Larini (at £400) but experienced tuner Simon at Brooke Kensington Bicester rates the new Janspeed Club Sport (at £300).
Anyone got experience of the Janspeed one that might help me decide?
Thanks all

Not sure that many people have the Janspeed yet, as the New version, is very new. Sorry not to be that much help.
Allegedly its supposed to be better built than the previous version and have a deeper note to it.

Simon (at B-K) is a good bloke. The new Janspeed is getting favourable reviews. At that price difference, I would lean strongly to the Janspeed. It has great looking tail pipes.

I see you are in MK,
but consider coming tot he next Bolocs day out which I hope will be at Janspeeds rolling road, and quite soon.
Maybe tie that in with an exhaust purchase. That is my plan at the mo (plus sports cat). The new sports zorst does look nice

I will post details after the Bolocs airfield day.

Thanks for the info guys.
The janspeed is very new and better made with a good sound and no booming apparently.
I'm pretty keen to get the sound changed soon so may well go for the Janspeed.
Patience never was one of my virtues.
Would still like to hear from anyone else in the meantime though.

I have the new Janspeed -changed an old Janspeed for it to quieten my Honda car down...its better made, lighter, quiter, not boomy on part throttle cruising (you can hardly hear it) but on full chat sounds like a sports exhaust should..its lost the old tinny raspy sound Janspeed were reknowned for and is deeper/more throaty - highly recommended at the price

I heard 98 dB static test without induction. New one is apparently slightly quieter than the Larini.

Delivery Dave...Janspeed are still doing the Supersport because some people wanted a louder Zorst. Db's 110+.without induction kit.
They brought out the Roadsport in September 2005 to answer a number of requests for a good sports sound but not as noisy (98 dbs) or harsh as the Supersport.
It's apparently a lot lighter, and you can live with the sound comfortably on a long journey.
I used to have a full Milltek system on a Cooper S I had which drove me potty so didn't want to go too loud.
I've ordered the Roadsport and will post my thoughts when it's fitted. With a lifetime guarantee it should also be re-sellable in the future if necessary.
PS - I'm looking for a set of 8 spoke dk silver alloys. Do you know of any available?

We tested all exhaust but not Larini. Janspeed is very good. You are speaking about final exhaust or manifold?
We have in offer the exahust manifold at £250 but we have few pieces at this prices.
All the best
