Just a quick hello to everyone, just bought my first TVR on Sat,a 4.2 cerb. been reading all the posts for the last couple of months to try to get to know the cars thought it was about time to introduce myself, think ive got a good one 200 miles in 2 days no probs at all, usually drive a defender for work so have noticed a slight increase in performance. Big thanks to Ian at Middlewhich MOT for his help.Top bloke!

Welcome to the board and Cerbera ownership. It really is a treat being able to drive one of these every-day.
If you haven't been told already, find out from the previous owner how you can get into the car should the battery go flat. It will save you some hassle if you do that now.
Get some pictures on your profile or up here for us to see it as well. We like pictures! Oh, and take it easy until you get used to the power delivery.

Thanks for the tip scott, will do. Will get some pics up asap but its the one out of the ph classifieds thats just been sold 99 on an s £18.5k/offers,Chianti starburst(i think) with 18inch spiders, paid 16 for it which seemed good value as it apperars mint with 9 mths waranty.went to look at 3 others but all seemed a bit rough one in particular which was up for 14k i wouldent have given 5k for it, bit anoying after traveling from lancs to Hastings after the owner discribed it as Mint.

Manc and Cheshire meet is 2nd Tuesday of month at jcn 7 of m56 at Little Bollington. Echo other statements, keep it neat and tidy in this bad weather. There is a West Lancs meeting as well.

Not sure i should name and shame him but he did sell it to me as a minter over the phone and i had an 11 hour round trip to look at it, i even had the cash with me to take it back if it had been as good as he said, but i think the pics had been taken when he bought it 6 years ago. Its up for 13995 "my dark blue cerbera".To be honest the audi diesel we went down in was faster and the interior was about the worst i've seen, bit of a damp problem as even the speaker grills were going rusty!
Thanks for the welcome guys will take some pics of it at wkend so long as i can stop driving it for long enough, 3 days now without driving it and its killing me, cant use it for work as i need a tow bar most days and i dont think you can fit them to a cerb!
Going to middlewich tonight to get the alarm sorted and get it on a ramp for a good look underneath so here's hopeing we dont find anything nasty.
How do you attach photos?
