where should I buy drive shaft boots? /Tips for fitting
Discussion
spent most of the day in my local autofactor.... tried dunno how many boots!!!Are you guys sure the are ford granada? my local factor must be pulling my leg if thats the case!
I've seen a firstline part FCB2275 meant to be off a 3000 GSI Carlton when I was with Andy at APN automotive which is what he uses - no-where near me does first line parts though!
The original boot has a metal rim or you could re-use the metal rim but I had all their stock of boots out and none fitted! might try somewhere else....
anyone out there actually done the job?
cos if so - also what are the torque settings for putting the drive shafts back on? assuming I eventually get the parts.......Mmmmmmmmm

Hi the one I saw at Andys had the metal rim with 6 holes drilled for the Allen bolts that attach to the Diff/ hub.
Sounds like your part would mean reusing the metal rim which would be ok too.
My factor says they can order them from first line so I gues I'll se what the differmnce in price /availabilty is
cheers
