I meant the title to say - for your bird.

What do you buy them? I've been with her for about 15 yrs on and off .

She doesn't like going out for meals, well, I don't know what she does like to be truthful.

She like clothes, but I wouldn't have a clue what to buy.

Any good ideas. Nothing usually suffices, but then I get the silent treatment for a week.

Why not make it two weeks of peace and quiet and send her to some health spa or something?

Good idea but sounds expensive.

I have to assume everything you've written is firmly tongue in cheek groucho. I just have to!

How about a nice piece of cuttlebone in her cage?

Maybe that's the problem, I've been getting her too much millet.

I genuinely thought you meant 'birds' in the avian sense.

This is a serious question, believe it or not.

Ah, millet. Not good for a bird in the long run. Gives her wind.

The cuttlebone she can use for a bit of self grooming. Oh, and a little mirror to see the effects of all her hard work!

I am constantly astounded at the number of blokes asking for advice regarding presents for their long-term other halves. I mean how can you genuinely not know what she likes?

Or are these threads just started just so that we can all get the WHoCT/OXO Tower jokes out of our systems?

I suspect so. Still it's fun and I'm bored today.
