i bought one of these disks a few weeks ago, and the power supply has just died. I quite need to get some stuff off it ASAP, I don't suppose anyone in the south east uses the same disk and wouldn't mind me coming over and using their transformer for 15 minutes??? it's a long shot i know...

A universal adaptor should work, works for my enormously inferior 20gb lacie anyway

What's the power supply rated at? Is it one of those interior or exterior power supplies?

what would be useful would be the spec on the transformer cos the same spec one will work as long as it has the right connector (ie, it might not have to be the 1Tb specific one)

thanks for the replies everyone, but i just got back from lacie HQ with a new transformer. a very refreshing change to actually be able to deal with a person who can help me, rather than emailing a void at a certain online electronics goods retailer...
