Just having my fosters supper and ime off.
The motto for tonight "Never judge a book by its cover"
A young Geezer comes staggering over from the Kebab van... he looks a right state!
Me all defensive "sorry buddy you are not coming in in that state"
Young Drunk ,(all sorry looking) "Why not ime OK"
Me "well for a start that kebabs gonna end up all on the inside of the cab"
Him "oh please take me home"
Me ,i soften and ask "Ok but your not a puker are you",as i walk with him over to the kebab van to ask for a bag to put his food in.
I help him in to the back of the cab and he goes 3/4 of a mile up the road to his home.
I ask him for the £4.50 fare and he slips me two tenners ,"i dont want that much" i say.
He wont give in and insists i take it for helping him home.
I feel a right mug now,but will look out for him in the future ,so i take a good long look at his face and make sure he crosses the road OK.

Just coming to the end of Downfall, movie about the last days of Hitler and the staff of the Bunker in Berlin. A very good film but hard to follow at times with only subtitles to read and german to listen to. Worth the effort tho.
