What is the washer bottle from?

On the Chimaera / Griffith what is the washer bottle from, my cap has decided to abort mission!

IIRC Corin, its a VW / Audi / VAG item.

The coolant cap is certainly vw/audi .. but i've been trying to source washer caps for ages .. i'd love to know what cars to target in the scrapyard aswell

On the early Griffiths I believe it's Fiesta.

That sounds more like it, it's not the blue VAG expansion cap but the small white cap for the windscreen fluid.

I asked this question on the griff forum recently,i've also lost my cap!I put a photo on the thread,and it was identified as a mk1 golf item.Have a look at the thread and see if yours is the same

Must be a common problem on these cars. Mine has gone for its own trip too. I have found the top of a plastic 5litre windscreen wash can fit on with a gentle push. To early to tell if this is more loyal than the standard item though!

there will be a part number on the cap probably something like 89ab prefix, if its a ford item.. As Griffter says, early cars used a Ford Fiesta type if you can read the full part number I can get the probably get ford model variant..

Beat me to it. Tescos milk container tops are a perfect fit. Choice of colours too!

Yes its definitely a Ford part but not sure what from. I would guess they are all pretty similar.
