400 sbc question

Can an externally balanced 400ci sbc engine be used with the g50 flywheel? The 350 block is internally balanced so the flywheel would have a neutral balance.

351 Cobra - Thats exactly the set up I've got. You need the original sbc fly wheel that came with the engine to make it easy though. I got round the problem with some help from Peter Knight of Knight engineering. (Daventry)

All he did was take original f/wheel and put it on a rotating assembly, match balance the assembly to the flywheel, change the old f/wheel for the G50 'wheel and re-balance that to the rotating assembly ...... Easy peasy. Cost me about £80.00

I would imagine that without the original fly wheel your'd need to balance the assembly complete with G50 'wheel before puting it into the block?
