Anybody still into GT4?

I have rekindled my interest. I'm not an habitual PS2 player but occassionaly I have a dabble.

I got gifted a rally car which I sold for 450,000 and bought a Ford GT with the money - its just won me a series and I still have 330,000 left.

Should I buy the TVR Speed 12 ?

I'm amazed that I've still only completed 13.7% of the game. Need to do more licenses.

I keep going back to it every now and then. I've done all the Beginner, Professional, Extreme and Endurance championships/races, plus most of the Special Conditions ones and various others and yet I'm still only 55% through the infernal game...

It's so vast I got bored with my lack of progress after a while. Plus the engine noises are rubbish and it becomes very dull with only 5 other cars in the races - especially on the 4th generation of the game. All I seem to do now is try out different Le Mans cars at the 'Ring because I can't face another Toyota Yaris type championship!

If I had a PC rather than a Mac I'd be giving that GTR game a try instead.

Bloody hell - my 13.7% completion appears a little feeble.

Trying to do the endurance races at the moment, getting incredibly frustrated with the b-specs inability to hit top speed. But it can manage far longer on a set of tyres than I can. Once you get a track of all LM cars it does get quite boring though best races I had was with the 350z you win from the 80's japanese cup

Play it every so often

on 93%....just the F1 races to go

don't bother with the Speed 12 since it's a bugger to handle

try something else...

I was tempted by the speed 12 earlier on today when I sold my Renault 5 turbo for about 300,000. Bought a Tuscan instead (Moonraker Black...just how I picture my own being one day) and it's proved quite good in it's first event.
Funnily enough, does anyone still 'own' the first decent car they modded and used successfully?

I never sold any of my cars, except for ones I could win more than once.

I haven't played GT4 in a while, I only played it a few times after I got 100%. Mainly to speed round the 'ring.

i play now and again but mostly to see how long i can drift an M3 or the like around circuits

98% complete and can't be bothered to do the last 2% i think its for manufacturer races

If i want to race properly i use GTR on my pc
