A new Monaro VXR owner in Fleet, Hants!

Hi Everyone

Well, as the title says, I am now the proud owner of a Quicksilver Monaro 6.0L VXR!

What a car, absoloutly loved it from the minute I drove it.

No plans to modify it (at present ).

Car is currently on V1 VXR but this is not included in the sale, so has to be registered as an 05 car, then it will be on my own plate, P40 WOW, so look out for me Getting it tomorrow.

I have seen there is the Australia day meet coming up at the Ace, but my wife is 8 1/2 months pregnant and due to drop "at any time" so I cant stray too far from home.. May try and maake the VW meet though.

Previous cars to this have been a modified VX220 Turbo, TVR T350c and TVR Chimaera, so it's nice having the V8 soundtrack back.

I see Mose is near me, anyone else?

Can't wait!

Welcome! Yep, I live just down the road from you in West End and have a modified CV8 - Meet for a pint sometime if you like.
Glad to see youve had a V8 before! cant beat it - he he ! I also have a 78 Vette and a very potent MGBGTV8 - think i'm developing a problem !
Just enjoy yer new motor a while, but I'll bet you a curry youve done a mod within 2 months!
